The Cobden Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are holding a bottle drive fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. until noon in Cobden. The money will be used for camping equipment and new leaders books since the program changed this year. It’s expected there will be about 15 young men and women, along with parent volunteers, going door-to-door in hopes of collecting bottles. If you want, you can call 613-432-5602 or 613-433-1405 to arrange for pick up. You can also drop the bottles off at Rooney’s in Cobden.
