DELBERT GERALD BROOME — Of St. Thomas, and formerly of Foresters Falls, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, October 29, 2016 in his 91st year. Delbert Broome beloved husband of the late Lorraine Broome (nee Sheard) for 65 years. Loved father of Dennis (Christine) and Marilyn (Gerry). Predeceased by son Cevan. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Cevan, Lisa, Cory and great-grandchildren Jackson and Abagail along with his many nieces, nephews and other family members. Delbert was a proud member of the Cobden Legion, Foresters Falls Orange Lodge and the Hoisting Engineers Union. Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden on Tuesday, November 1 and on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Funeral Service was held in the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church, Cobden, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment Howard Cemetery Foresters Falls.
