ALDENA AGATHA LEECK
passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Caressant Care, Cobden at the age of 91 years. She was born in Sebastopol Township on May 1, 1925 to Albert & Meta (Rosien) Drefke. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sebastopol. Aldena was married to Henry Leeck on June 23, 1943. They were blessed with 2 children, Elson (Marie) and Emerson (Grace) and also 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. They lived on a farm near Cobden until May 25, 1987 when they sold the farm and moved to Eganville. She was predeceased by her husband in 1991.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and again on Saturday from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Grace Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Spring interment Grace Lutheran Cemetery. In memory of Aldena donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville and would be greatly appreciated by her family.
