Firefighters from the Westmeath Station of Whitewater Region fire department were called to Our Lady of Grace Catholic School on Friday, Aug. 11. While there are no students at the school, the cleaning attendant was there and noticed smoke. The fire department responded to the emergency call. A water pump had malfunctioned and filled the room with smoke. Within half an hour of the call coming in, firefighters had come and gone. Photo by Bob Grylls
