PEMBROKE – Frances M. Lemke Co-operators Insurance recently gifted $4,400 to support the Pembroke Regional Hospital (PRH) Foundation’s Cutting Edge Campaign.
Through such generosity and leadership in community investment, the Co-operators is recognized as a Caring Company with Imagine Canada. This donation will help propel the Foundation closer to its Cutting Edge campaign goal of $2.5 million.
“The Pembroke Regional Hospital serves the same region that my agency serves,” said business owner Frances Lemke. “The Co-operators, my staff and I, recognize the importance of the services the hospital provides and we want to be part of ensuring all patients are receiving top-notch care in a modern facility.”
Funds raised for the campaign enable the PRH to expand the hospital’s services, as funding will help off-set the cost of newly acquired state-of-the-art orthopaedic equipment and renovate the circa 1950’s surgical in-patient rooms.
“We are very fortunate for the generosity of our local businesses and for the continued support from the Co-operators,” said Nancy Warren, Executive Director of the PRH Foundation. “Their contribution serves as an investment in the advancement of our community’s health and well-being.”
Donations towards the Cutting Edge campaign are welcome at any time and can be made by contacting the Foundation Office at 613-732-2811 ext. 7408 or online at www.prhfoundation.com
