1949 – 2019
Doreen Anne Rahn (nee Heubner) passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the age of 70. Loving mother of Melanie (Sandra) and Chris (Tina). Over-the-top doting Nana of Riley, Teagan and Berkley. Beloved daughter of the late Garnet and Alma Heubner. Dear sister of Wayne (Elizabeth) Heubner, Keven Heubner, and Mark (Susan) Heubner. Auntie Doreen will be sadly missed by her nephews Greg (Hester) Heubner and Warren (Megan) Heubner and great-nephews William and Edward. Doreen was a long-time member of Kitchener East Presbyterian Church and worked for over 30 years as a Bylaw Officer with the City of Waterloo. Doreen’s family received relatives and friends on Monday, May 6 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. Funeral Service was at Kitchener East Presbyterian Church on Tuesday May 7. Interment at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Alice, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
