WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — Bishop Smith School’s grade eight students came together and held a fundraiser for those impacted by the flooding this year.
The students raised $1000 and donated half of the proceeds to Fort-Coulonge in Quebec and the other half to the Township of Whitewater Region.
Mayor Moore and Councillor Neil Nicholson accepted the cheque from proud students last night.
