RENFREW COUNTY (Laurentian Valley) —The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating break-ins at two businesses in Laurentian Valley Township which occurred in the early morning hours of November 25.
At approximately 1:50 a.m. Brum’s Dairy on Bruham Avenue was the victim of a break, enter and theft. Two cash registers containing an undisclosed amount of money were stolen by two persons. At approximately 3:50 a.m. Colborne’s Fish and Chips on Boundary Road was broken into by two unknown people who stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on bicycles. At this time police believe the same persons are responsible for both break-ins. Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify the persons of interest (POI) in this case and photos are attached.
POI 1: wearing a blue long-sleeved checkered hoodie, baseball cap with a flat peak with an Authentic sticker, brown work boots with black toes, blue jeans, Bud Light Blue Jays cooler backpack – blue in colour, wearing gloves and scarf over his face.
POI 2: long-sleeved shirt with hoodie, riding a CCM mountain bike with a two-tone coloured seat
