It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mavis Shirley Caldwell (nee Richardson) of Cobden, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, on Tuesday, April 14 at 75 years of age. Mavis Caldwell is the beloved wife of Bruce Caldwell. Dear mother of Jody (Brian Delaurier), Scott (Melissa) Caldwell and Chris (Jennifer) Caldwell. Also survived by six grandchildren Brianna, Brynne, Cooper, Kaynan, Emma, Brooklyn and sister Rev. Barbara Richardson. Predeceased by her parents Dalton and Bertie Richardson and a brother Robert Brian Richardson. A private graveside service will be held in Pioneer Cemetery in Osceola. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden. A celebration of Mavis’ life will be announced at a later date due to current circumstances of COVID-19.
