WHITEWATER REGION — The annual Business Excellence Awards hosted by the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce (UOVCC) have been postponed until Friday, September 25 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The planning committee is committed to doing all we can to contain COVID-19, including supporting physical distancing to reduce the spread of the virus,” stated the UOVCC in an email. “So, in order to protect the well-being and safety of people in our community, we have made to difficult, but critical decision to postpone … We will continue to reassess and prepare for the possibility that we may need to make further changes closer to the event.”
