Many people have faith in healing stones or crystals such as Amethyst to help cure hangovers and Rose Quartz, the love crystal. I did too but after my patience expired because it didn’t cure ‘putting my foot in my mouth’ so often or the arthritis that is creeping along in my hands, I gave up.
Now a relatively unknown crystal called Shungite is garnering global attention. This oldest and most potent of all was discovered in Russia about 2 million years ago. It is becoming known as the stone of life or an elixir of life. This purest of crystals has healing powers and preventive properties that might change our lives or even save our planet. This black non-crystalline mineral, 98% carbon, has thrown the mineral world for a loop. There is no smoke and mirrors here so I am thinking of getting back into the game.
Shungite stones used for the purification of water goes all the way back to Czar Peter of Russia. Modern tests have confirmed its amazing water purifying capabilities and it’s now commonly found in water filtration systems. Shungite elixirs can be made by simply placing the mineral in water and allowing a short time to purify. Drinking this purified water is said to have many beneficial qualities such as an increased rate of healing and cell growth, and detoxification of the body. Holding or having Shungite could assist in the healing of headaches, back pain, blood pressure, inflammation and muscle pain. The antioxidants in Shungite impact positively on one’s health and immune system. Shungite healing properties are powerful for the spirit as well. It can be used to combat insomnia, boost energy, reduce stress and relieve anxiety.
One woman wrote, “I work under a cell phone tower and never had an explanation for my constant headaches but since I got my Shungite, not only do I feel great, I am not bloated like I was due to recent thyroid surgery. My headaches are gone too.”
This brings me back to when I was a kid. An electrical transformer was and is still located in front of our house. My school chums knew this and often said I acted weird because of the electrical magnetic fields emanating from the transformer. (Then people worried more about this phenomenon than nuclear waste upstream on the Ottawa River). It of course bothered me a little when my friends said that but I forget all about it after leaving town. Interestingly the two guys next door, living a few feet nearer the transformer, have never been called out like I have. After returning some 40 years later to the same house, I once again hear those comments. Another reason why I should invest in acquiring plenty of this magical stone.
user has claimed that, “I just feel right with the Shungite around my neck. When I first used it in the vicinity of my Wi-Fi connection, my dad’s coughing stopped. I feel happier in general and not as depressed anymore. Shungite is the real deal.”
One poor soul was heard to say, “I was experiencing excruciating pain on my body from a car accident. I held three Shungite nuggets in my left hand a few hours before I went to sleep and they worked overnight to relieve my pain.”
Expert tell us to be cautious. Shungite isn’t for sissies. If you are going for it, be ready for change. Humans tend to hold onto and believe an incredible amount of stuff that isn’t authentic. Not a big fan of change either, I don’t want to be the one in a straight jacket laughing and crying at the same time. But apparently it does the job!
To sum it up, in case I haven’t been crystal clear about it to this point, I think Shungite is no fool’s gold but I will do more research before I make up my mind to use it. I would probably put it in my cat’s water bowls initially to see if they acted less like ‘dogs in a manger’.
Shungite may be just the cat’s meow to make me more at peace with myself and also to empower me to handle household chores more cheerfully. That would be an awesome change!
