Ontario 4-H is celebrating 100 years of 4-H programs in Ontario and the Renfrew County 4-H Association is hosting a reunion for all Renfrew County 4-H Alumni – Leaders and Members. Former and present members and Leaders and their families are invited to share their memorabilia and stories.
The familiar 4-H Clover-Crest represents the use of the Head, Heart, Hands and Health for a member’s club, community and country. Through 4-H projects, several generations of rural youth have gained confidence, leadership skills, and pride in a job well done.
Friendships made have lasted over the years. Many leaders in government , the corporate world and the farming community are proud to say that they were 4-H members.
The reunion starts with a BBQ at the Cobden Ag Hall from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Sunday, June 28 followed by a program from 2-4 p.m.
Those planning to attend the BBQ are asked to RSVP to Lynn at 613-432-6317 by June 25.
