WHITEWATER REGION (Beachburg) — If you are struggling with problematic substance use or care about someone who is, confidential addictions counselling services are now available at the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre – Beachburg Site, through a new partnership with Pathways Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services.
Brenda Powers-Ross, Director of Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre is pleased to welcome Addictions Counsellor, Sandra Anderson of Pathways Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services to the community. Sandra is certified as an International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (I.C.A.D.C.) through the Canadian Addiction Counsellor Certification Federation. At WBCHC, Sandra will see people 16 years of age and older who are struggling with substance use as well as family members. She is also part of the MotherSafe Program and will see pregnant/parenting women who have substance related issues including those using opioids or who are part of a Methadone/Suboxone Maintenance Program.
Services are provided free of charge and are open to any resident of Renfrew County. You do not need to be a client of the WBCHC in order to access this service. You also do not need to have a referral to make an appointment.
