Of Cobden passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Ottawa on Monday, Feb. 9, in her 81st year. Alice Caswell, nee Gruschwitz, beloved wife of Ossie Caswell. Dear mother of Rev. Kathryn (David Peate) and Jamie (Janet Burns) Caswell. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Robert, Laura, Jaspyn, 3 sisters, Hilda Grieve, Cora Gruschwitz and Clara Thompson. Predeceased by son Robert. Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden on Wednesday. Service in Grace United Church, Cobden, Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. Spring Interment Cobden Union Cemetery. Donations to Grace United Church Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
