The family announces the passing of Arthur Wallace McBride at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Beryl McBride, father of Reid McBride (Julie), Lori Fleming (Stephen) and Bryce McBride (Melanie) and grandfather of Nicole, Ana, Thomas, Elyse, Sebastien, Daniel, Trent, Benen, Isla and Eamon. Son of the late Arndell and Ellen McBride and brother of Shirley McBride, Murray McBride and Gayle Stewart and of the late Henry “Harry” and Izett McBride. The family would like to thank the medical team (Dr. Buxton, Dr. Low and Dr. Blaine, as well as the superb nursing staff) at Renfrew Victoria Hospital for their care over the past few months. As well, they would like to thank Roxanne Nolan for setting up daily virtual meetings when they were not able to visit in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, the family would like to thank Dr. Rabinovitch for helping manage Arthur’s Parkinson’s disease for the past 17 years. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
