Brandon M. Lavallee
Services were held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The
Brandon Michael Lavallee, beloved husband of Carmina, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. Brandon was born in Taber, Alberta, Canada on December 23, 1982 and was raised in Beachburg, Ontario. Shortly after high school, he came to Hollister to meet the love of his life. He and Carmina were married on October 18, 2003.
For the past 18 years, Brandon has built his life and home around Carmina and her family. He was quiet and reserved but he had a very special way of building relationships throughout his life. He worked for a number of years at Durham School Services as a bus driver and driver trainer. Although it was his job, it became much more than that, as he referred to his coworkers as his “Durham Family”. He loved computers and cooking and he was always looking for new recipes to try. When it came to his nieces and nephews, Brandon was always gentle and kind and a little mischievous. He loved the beach, the sea breezes and the restaurants in Monterey. He also enjoyed going to San Francisco with Carmina to window shop, find great places to eat and explore.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Janet Lavallee, brothers, Jordy and Spencer (Jessica), nephew; Cohen and his Grandmother, Carroll Lavallee, all of Beachburg, Ontario. He is also survived by Carmina’s parents, Leonardo and Lupe Rodriguez; brothers, Mario (Christina), Gabriel and Liliana Quintana; Juan Rodriguez and his children, Isabel, Ariana and Johnny; Israel (Amanda) Rodriguez, Morgan and Taylor; and very special Aunt, Gloria Rodriguez. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends in Canada and the United States.
