WESTMEATH — The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP is looking for the public’s assistance in solving four reports of break, enter and thefts that occurred in Westmeath in the Township of Whitewater Region. All four were reported on Sunday, July 31.
• The first complaint was of a break, enter and theft that had occurred in a garage at a residence on Raglan Street. Entry was forced into the garage and once inside a quantity of alcohol was stolen.
• The second break and enter was reported on Rapids Road. A 1998 Yamaha Big Bear 4-wheeler was stolen out of a shed. The all- terrain vehicle was subsequently located on Rapids Road in the ditch.
• A third complaint was filed of a break and enter to a garage on Grace Street. A motorized scooter was removed from the garage and found at the end of the driveway.
• A fourth complaint was filed of a break and enter to a residence on Synton Street. Entry was gained and once inside suspects stole some electronics, and various items were damaged in the residence including a TV.
