A buffet-style pancake breakfast was held at the Beachburg Lions Hall Saturday morning to raise money to purchase uniforms for the Canadian kayak team competing at the world-class event to be held on the Ottawa River outside of Beachburg later this summer. The Canadian team members on hand to help serve the supporters were, from left, Rae Boratto, Lars Romeskie, Emily Zwanenburg, Shaunna Kent, Quinton Kennedy,Kalem Kennedy and Zachary Zwanenburg.
