CECIL KARL DAYMENT
June 3, 1942 to May 7, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Cecil Karl Dayment, born June 3, 1942, announces his passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at the age of 76 years.
Cecil, son of the late Reinhold Dayment and Ella Lange, will be lovingly remembered by his spouse and best friend, Donna Broome. Cecil was a proud and devoted Dad to his loving children, Curtis (Marilyn) Dayment, Dean (Pam) Dayment, Laurie (Adam) Bembridge, and Ialeen (Hugh Whitfield) Jones.
Cecil was a treasured and loved Grandfather and will be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren, Jordan, Jared and Colin Dayment, Quintin and Brittany Jones, Jonathan (Cali), Jeffrey (Sarah) and Joshua Bembridge, and his seven great-grandchildren Dakota, Avery, Hudson, Thomas, Abigail, Ava and Murray.
Cecil is survived by his cherished sisters, Myrtle Lanthier, Barbara Dayment, Heather (Rene) St. Cyr, nieces and nephews. and was predeceased by his brother David Dayment.
Cecil also leaves behind lifelong and cherished friends Keith Lance, Weldon and Leona Robinson, and Shawn, Cody and Clara Krieger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace United Church, 3520 Beachburg Rd. (Perretton) followed by a celebration of Cecil’s life at the family home. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Cecil to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
