Charges Laid, Suspect Arrested
RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew)— On August 22, at approximately 10:15 a.m., officers with the Renfrew Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft call at a pharmacy on Raglan Street South, in the Town of Renfrew.
An unknown party entered the business, grabbed a customer’s purse and exited the business with it. The suspect exited the pharmacy and proceeded onto Raglan Street South.
On August 26, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Jessie Laundrie, 38 years old of Renfrew was arrested and charged with robbery with violence and two counts of fail to comply with probation order. He was held for a bail hearing on August 27, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
