Bonnie Bishop is cheering on area Olympian, who is also her niece, Melissa Bishop. She has decorated her Foresters Falls Road front yard to show her support for Melissa and encourages everyone else to do the same to show they support Melissa as she goes for gold in the 800 metre run at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. It’s expected the women’s 800 metre first heat will be about 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17 on CBC followed by the semi-finals the next day and the final at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20.
