During the Christmas season, the Jolly Old Elf himself made a few appearances throughout Whitewater Region. Children had the opportunity to talk to him, sitting on his knee or just standing near him. In Westmeath, children were surprised they could check and see if their names were on the nice or naughty side.

However, sister Brooke remained close to mom Cheryl. Both children were quite happy when they each left with a bag of candy and a promise of a visit from Santa Christmas Eve while they were sleeping. Cal Robertson had a nice chat with Santa while in Beachburg. Julia Fleury was a little shy meeting Santa in Beachburg. Seth Pilgrim of Beachburg had a friendly chat with Santa. Isaac Matcheskie and Santa eye each other up as sister Lee smiles for the camera. Zoey Pilon of Cobden is all smiles as she sits on Santa’s knee while visiting him and Mrs. Claus in Cobden. Four-year-old Owen Lee has a fun conversation with Santa while visiting him in Cobden. Blair Stone had quite the visit with Santa when he was in Cobden. Marceline Valliant isn’t too sure about this Man in Red. Mabel Frolander and Santa seem to be checking each other out while Mrs. Claus smiles for the camera. Lincoln Whalen, 3, of Foresters Falls, checks out Santa’s naughty and nice list, hoping when the Jolly Old Elf looks at it, his name is on the nice side. Levi Healey was all smiles as he found his name on the nice list while visiting with Santa in Westmeath. Freija Thomas took some time out of her busy schedule to visit with Santa when he came to Westmeath.
