The Whitewater Historical Society hosted a Celtic Christmas and Tree Lighting Friday evening, while in Westmeath, there was a tree lighting hosted by Our Lady of Grace Catholic School, a carol sing and tree lighting event hosted by Westmeath and District Recreation Association and the 4-H hosted Christmas in The Village at St. Andrew’s United Church, also in Westmeath, on Monday evening.
