WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — The Council of the Township of Whitewater Region moved in to closed session at 5:54 p.m. yesterday.
Staff participating in the meeting were set to discuss a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations in relation to the Industrial Park water system decommissioning. Also set to be discussed were potential agreements with Junior Hockey Teams and a proposed or pending acquisition, or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, for the Foresters Falls library property line adjustment and Beachburg drainage easement.
Moving in to a closed session is permitted under Section 9 of the Procedure By-law. This action was motioned by Councillor Dave Mackay and seconded by Councillor Charlene Jackson.
