The annual golf tournament hosted by the Cobden and District Civitan Club was held Friday, Aug. 4 at the Oaks of Cobden golf course. There were 160 players split into 42 teams. Following dinner, Civitan president Kevin Lamore handed out trophies and cheques.
The men’s winning foursome was Leo McCalllum, Bob Gould, Gary Smith and Rick McCallum with a score of 63. The ladies’ winning foursome was Barb Desilets’ team with a score of 70. Rolly Popes won the putting green in the morning with a score of 100 followed by Dave Crozier in the afternoon with a score of 85. Photos by Ted Barron
