WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — A Cobden man’s bank account grew by $100,000 after he cleaned out his truck.
Jordan Crozier won $100,000 with Encore in the Friday, Sept. 14 Lotto Max draw.
He matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order to win the $100,000 prize.
“I enjoy playing Lotto Max once a month – always with Encore,” said Mr. Crozier while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
A few weeks after the draw, Mr. Crozier was cleaning out his truck and came across the ticket, which he had purchased at Rooney Enterprises in Cobden, checked it on the OLG Lottery App and discovered he was a Big Winner.
“I was very excited — I actually didn’t believe it for a while,” he laughed.
The 27-year-old power lineman is engaged to be married and plans on putting some of his windfall toward his wedding, taking his fiancé on an early honeymoon and saving for a house.
“It’s pretty cool — it’s a game changer for sure,” Mr. Crozier said.
Encore can be played in conjunction with most online lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.
