Dominic Bielaskie

Dominic Bielaskie of Cobden, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Friday May 24, 2019 in his 82nd year. Dominic Bielaskie son of the late Anthony and Rose Bielaskie nee Palubeskie. Beloved husband of Jenny Bielaskie nee Power. Loved and cherished father of Catherine (Derick MacKenzie) and Kevin  (Zabrina) Bielaskie. Loving grandfather to Kayla, Jenna, Mitchell and Shaylyn. Also survived by siblings Jean (late Harry Haley), Genevieve (Clarence Visutski), Theresa (Reynolds Timmins), Rita (late Gib Dodd), Leonard (Leona) Bielawski, Phyllis (late Ron Carrigan), Vincent (Sheila) Bielawski, Richard (Carla) Bielawski, Ursela (late Steve Desjardin), Raymond (Maureen) Bielaskie, Marilyn (Michael Wollock) and brother-in-law of James (late Marilyn) Power, Don (Rita) Power, Lucretia (Willard Brisbois), Theresa (Jim Riopelle), Pat (Tom Makela) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Joseph (late Nettie) Bielaskie, sister-in-law Colleen (late Steve Lalonde), Oswald Power, Helen (Gerry Tracz) and Arnold (late Ailleen) Power. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Thursday May 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church Osceola, Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Pius V Cemetery Osceola. As expression of sympathy, donations to Ottawa Hospital Leukemia Program for M.D.S. or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
