While many have voted, I always prefer going to the voting station and voting manually. It’s old fashioned participatory democracy. For those of you voting Monday, I need not tell you this is an important election. The large number of candidates and the huge turnouts confirm it. The voters want change, growth and development. I support all three.
At one meeting a voter asked me my plan to achieve growth and development. I quickly responded I don’t have one. All we need to achieve spectacular results is have government get out of the way and let our entrepreneurial spirit run wild. However, that is not easy. For development to occur we need an aggressive pro-development Mayor and Council. That is what is needed to counter the myriad of bureaucratic road blocks designed to stop new business. Please keep that in mind when you vote.
