PEMBROKE — Celebrating emerging talent, the Pembroke Regional Hospital staff have selected pieces from three young artists to be the cover art for this year’s Annual Christmas Card.

“Our Board wanted to reach out to our young philanthropists and invite them to create artwork to help our Regional Hospital,” shared Executive Director Nancy Warren. “We received over 70 submissions from across the county, and it was very difficult for the PRH staff to pick the top three.”

1st Place: Michelle Lepinskie, Grade 8, George Vanier Catholic School in Combermere — Child and Fireplace

2nd Place: Abby Patrois, Grade 6, John XXIII Catholic School in Arnprior — Child Kissing Snowman

3rd Place: Maggie Davidson, Grade 5, Highview Public School in Pembroke — White birch in Winter

When you make a donation via the Christmas Card Program, we will send our featured card to the special person on your Christmas List informing them that you have made a donation in their honour supporting local health care this holiday season. You can also purchase a mixed bundle of six blank Christmas Cards featuring the acclaimed artwork for $12.

“The Christmas Card Program provides a unique opportunity to acknowledge those special people on your list by dedicating a donation in their honour,” Ms. Warren said. “You make that individual feel very special and our entire community benefits from your generosity. Your thoughtful gift also qualifies for a charitable receipt.”
