PEMBROKE — More than 280 home décor admirers attended the Dobbs and Hoffman Families’ Festive Home Tour December 16th, where guests were serenaded by local talent: the Red Hot Mamas, Pembroke Community Choir and Mackenzie Graham.
For the third year in a row, Kirk and Lynda Dobbs hosted the tour of their 14,800 square foot home and, this year, invited Daniel and Connie Hoffman to take part in hosting their home for the much anticipated annual event.
With over $5,710 raised this year, the Festive Home Tour has raised nearly $18,000 in support of local health care. Funds from this year’s event will go towards the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Cutting Edge campaign for orthopaedic equipment and the revamping of the hospital’s 1950’s-era surgical in-patient rooms.
