The Council received Dr. Jennifery Spinney, and Dr. Doberstein receive the study “How Disaster Feels”, on the subject of flooding.
CAO Ryan Trembley reported that due to the devastation “continues to have an impact on property owns in the area.
“And we know of some vacant properties that haven’t been addressed.” he said.
“The study did provide some recommendations on what the County could do.”
“I think the importance of how the 2017 flood impacted the 2019 flood.”
He said the Emergency Program included a flooding preparedness plan.
He said they had already reviewed their plans prior to the pandemic.
A total of 26 people participated in the study, including 22 residents and 4 Township representatives.
There were no questions, and the motion was carried.
