It is with sadness we announce the passing of Florence Erna Sewter of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, February 17 at 103 years of age. Florence Sewter (nee Schroeder) beloved wife of the late Art Sewter. Dear mother of Betty (Bill Hass), Bill (Bonnie) Sewter and Tom (Sharon) Sewter. Also survived by seven grandchildren Bill, Tammy (Pat), Troy (Laura), Chad, Jonathan (Sarah), Tim, Paula, eight great-grandchildren and one brother Wally (Elizabeth) Schroeder. Predeceased by sisters Eleanor Jeffery, Gertie Johnston, Nelda McBride and brothers Leonard, Carl, Verner, Edward, Ernest and Elvin. Friends may call at the Fraser–Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden today from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment at Cobden Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
