At the Ottawa Hospital-Civic Campus on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Floyd Miller, age 86 years. Son of the late Alexander and Grace Miller (nee Shaw). Beloved husband of Geraldine Miller (nee Clarke) of Deep River. Loving father of Stephen Miller and his wife Rachel Williams of Port Elgin and Brady and David Miller both of Deep River. Cherished grandfather of Fiona, Jamie, Charlotte, Tristan, Noah and Payton. Dear brother of Neeta Moore and her husband Bill of Cobden. Predeceased by brother Orval Miller and three sisters, Eileen McBride (the late Clarence), Hazel Purcell (the late Jack) and the late Olive Hill. Also survived by sister-in-law Shirley Miller of Deep River and brother-in-law Mansel Hill of Cobden. Respecting Floyd’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Sunday, December 16. Mass of thanksgiving for a life well lived was celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River on Monday, December 17. Interment of cremated remains will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery . In memoriam donations to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
