It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Freavous Jearom Victor Coulas of Pembroke at 75 years of age. He passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday, April 28 and leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann Coulas (nee McHale). He will be missed by his children, Patrick (Rufonsil) Coulas, Richard (Megan) Coulas, Sheldon Coulas and Trina Coulas. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren; Brandyn, Kayden, Thomas, James, Joey, Kieran, and Maya. Freavous has a sister Doreen LaRonde, brothers Jerome (Marg), Allen (Diane), sisters-in-law Peggy, Teresa, Ruby as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sister Teresa Lariviere and brothers Dennis, Kenneth, Sylvester, Clifford and Arnold. Freavous loved being outdoors, building furniture and spending time with his family and dogs. He had an unmatched work ethic and was always there to help out a neighbour. Arrangements are entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully accepted in his honour.
