WHITEWATER REGION (Beachburg) — Viewers will be able to watch new episodes of Epic Trails, Facing Waves, Chad Hoover Fishing, and The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons on all 27 regional networks making up FOX Sports Network beginning this month.
Epic Trails, recently dubbed as one of the top adventure-travel shows to watch in 2020 by The Washington Post, will begin airing on the prestigious National Geographic Channel-Asia in the Fall. Heliconia’s TV series are already available in the US on OutsideTV, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network.
“Heliconia is thrilled to be able to provide our content to these distribution partners, and to share our shows with more viewers around the world” explains Brendan Mark, Vice-President of Heliconia. “The additional distribution provided by our partnerships with FOX Sports Network and the National Geographic Channel-ASIA is a huge milestone for our company, as well as a big win for our project partners.”
Heliconia’s new distribution partnerships come at a time when television viewership is at an all-time high. According to data from Comcast, the average household is watching an additional 8 hours of TV more per week. Early in March, the average household watched 57 hours of content per week. The number is now up to 66 hours per week.
Heliconia is a Telly Award winning video production and marketing company located in Beachburg, Ont. Their shows will now be available in over 80 million U.S. households through the FOX Sports Network and available in 90 countries through National Geographic Channel-Asia, including China, New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
