FORESTERS FALLS — Wilderness Tours and the Ottawa Kayak School has always been about the Ottawa River community.
“We live here, work here and play here,” said owner Joe Kowalski, adding, “Been doing it for 40 years and are bullish about the next 40.
“That’s why we ramped up our investment and acquired River Run.”
But, a community-minded person, Mr. Kowalski and staff helped launch Whitewater Brewery, Horse Country and Whitewater Village, all separately owned and operated.
“Just like at WT/OKS, our plan for River Run is to grow our community,” he said, adding, “There is huge opportunity here for more businesses.”
There is an immediate opportunity for someone to own and operate a General Store, Crafts and river gear/boats along with a Tea Room and Coffee Shop/Bakery, Mr. Kowalski said.
The business relationship would be a percentage of sales so there is no “up front” cost to you.
