It is with sadness we announce the passing of John Collins Elliott of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Marianhill Long Term Care, on Tuesday November 12 at the age of 81 years. John Elliott beloved husband of Freda Elliott (nee Lalonde). Dear father of Lynn (Mitch Plummer); Chris (Dave Rooyakkers) and Steve (Collinda Folber) Elliott. Loving Grampa to Mark, Michael, Melissa, Adrienne, Hailey, Tyler, great-grandchildren Memphis, Sommer, Brady and Amelia. Also survived by a brother Jim (Marina) Elliott, sisters-in-law Myrna Elliott, Linda Sullivan, Donna Boothby and brothers-in-law Ron (Lois) Lalonde, Bob (Sandra) Lalonde. A graveside service was held at Cobden Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden. All were invited to join the family upstairs in the Cobden Legion for a light luncheon after the graveside service.
