The Delmer Bennett Memorial Award was presented to Katelyn (Katie) Stewart by Gwen Bennett. To qualify for this Award the recipient must have graduated from Grade 12 in a high school in Renfrew County and be continuing their education in the area of agriculture.
Katie has started a course in Agriculture and Business at Algonquin College (Perth). Katie’s parents are Brent and Paula Stewart. They have a cow calf operation on the Barr Line and also raise Belgian horses. After completing her course work Katie in planning to return to the family farm and work with her parents.
