In front of a crowd just shy of 200 fans, the Whiteawter Kings were shutout by the Perth Blue Wings 5-0 at the Astrolabe Arena Saturday night.
Darian McTavish was between the pipes for the Kings.
The first two stars for this game were awarded to Blue Wings players Jonathan Peacock and Suraj Bali. The final star went to Matteas Derraugh of the Kings.
On Sunday, the Kings travelled to Winchester and were defeated 5-3 by the Hawks n front of 30 fans. Scoring for the Kings were Hunter Halliday, Peter White and Michael Karas. Earning assists were Matteas Derraugh, Reid Barber, Jacob McIntyre, Dylan Kuehl and Quinn Vanhoof.
Winchester players received the three stars: Hunter Randell, Griffin Patterson and Dillon Clemen.
The Whitewater Kings are now in fifth place in the Richardson Division of the CCHL2 after playing 11 games, with six wins and five losses.

The Whitewater Kings are back in action with three games this week.
The Kings host the Embrun Panthers tonight (Thursay, Oct. 19) at the Astrolabe Arena in Cobden at 8 p.m.
On Saturday night, Oct. 21, the Kings host the Brockville Tikis starting at 7 p.m.
The Kings then travel to Athens for a Sunday, Oct. 22 evening game against the Aeros starting at 7:30 p.m.
