Bill passed away peacefully at home in Petawawa with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Joan LaForce (nee Burchart). Dear father of Paul (Cheryl) of Kingston, Brent (Wendy) of Haley Station, Philip (Sue) of Pembroke, Chris of Peterborough, Cheryl (Tom) Crispin of Ottawa and Kim (Jamie) Steed of Petawawa. Dearly loved Grandpa to 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Brother of Robert (Joyce), May Schizkoske and Betty (Bob) Pomeroy. Predeceased by siblings Charles, Joseph, Thomas, Ernie and Jean and by parents John and Elizabeth (nee Hudson).
Respecting Bill’s wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, June 13 at 11 a.m., followed by private inurnment. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
