Dear Editor:
On behalf of the members of Cobden Masonic Lodge No. 459, I would like to thank Whitewater News for publishing the submitted articles on the 300th anniversary of organized Freemasonry.
As we generally go about our business without public recognition, it was refreshing to see our history and works brought to light to satisfy curiosity, and help to dispel some of the misconceptions on Freemasonry.
Also, a sincere thank you to Connie Tabbert for her excellent coverage of Cobden Lodge’s Open House, which was held on June 3rd.
Many of our visitors were surprised to learn that Cobden Lodge had been instituted 114 years ago.
