Dear Editor:
I read with interest, the piece on how haying has changed over the years published in the July 21 edition of whitewaternews.ca titled The Changing Countryside by Maynard van der Galien.
I live near Arnprior and I do not live on or operate a farm. I have heard a great deal of positives about the new style of farming by the new neighbours, the Mennonite families, having moved into the area.
They appear to operate with limited resources. I was wondering whether they harvest any crops in the field, and if so, what pieces of equipment they would use to do so.
Yours truly,
J.Monk,
Woodlawn.
