Dear Editor:
Thank you (Joe Kowalski) for this great idea of bringing the community together through your newspaper. News within Whitewater has been sadly missed.
Congratulations to you both and I wish you every success in this new venture.

Dear Editor:
Hello from Germany.
I’m very happy that we will have an online newspaper in the Valley so I can read once a week the news from my favourite place in Canada and I can be in permanent contact.
Over 30 years I’m twice a year at my cottage in Westmeath and after the Cobden Sun (aka the Pulse) closed down, I appreciate very much that you will close the gap of information. Thank you.
I wish you a lot of success and always nice interesting and beautiful stories.

Dear Editor:
(An open letter to Joe Kowalski and Connie Tabbert.)
Thank you for the effort you are putting forth to bring a much needed newspaper back to our community after the Cobden Sun was so abruptly discontinued.
A well informed informal newspaper is a vital part of any community. I have missed it greatly.
Having lived in our area for so many years, you know the importance of a weekly paper for the purpose of advertising local events and happenings — some happy, some sad.
For families who have moved away, the Cobden Sun was a link to back home and memories left behind.
We now have to lay our Cobden Sun to rest. We will have memories that we have read over the years.
At this time, we have two community individuals who know the value of what we lost. We now have a new weekly paper – WhitewaterNews.ca – thank you Joe and Connie.
We wish you well for many years to come and many informative papers to follow.
Over the years, it has been said, “good things will come to those who wait.” Well, we have waited long enough. Let’s enjoy our new paper, WhitewaterNews.ca. Spread the word so we can enjoy it and it will continue to grow and serve our community for years to come.
