Mary Ellen McLeese passed away peacefully surrounded by her son Ronald McLeese of Foresters Falls and husband Raymond Walker of Ottawa, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital at the age of 73. Daughter of the late James McLeese and Muriel Horner of Foresters Falls. Dear sister of Jean (Eugene Kargus). Predeceased by her sister Margaret Rose McLeese. Proud grandmother to her three grandsons Bailey (Jacoba), Cody and Thomas (Tatjana) McLeese. Mary was a strong, beloved and courageous woman who will be deeply missed by her husband Raymond, son Ronald (Karen, step daughter Sarah-Grace), her many sister and brother-in-law’s (of the Walker family), nieces, nephew, friends and neighbours. There was a graveside service scheduled for Mary Ellen on Saturday, May 2 at the McLeese Cemetery on the Kerr Line in Foresters Falls. It was to be followed by a celebration of life gathering. Due to the COVID-19 virus, our dear Mary Ellen’s graveside service and Celebration of Life is postponed until further notice.
