It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Merney Susan MacDonald (nee Wilcox) at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 30 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Archie MacDonald, Merney leaves behind four daughters Judy, Nancy, Sheila and Joyce (Michael), nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents James and Matilda Wilcox, her son Wayne and daughter-in-law Natalie, as well as her brother Lester, and her sister Annabelle Moore. Funeral service was held on Monday, February 3 at St. John’s Anglican Church in Eganville. It was followed by a reception to celebrate Merney’s life at the Seniors’ Centre at Fairfields in Eganville.
