The County of Renfrew asks for the cooperation and patience of the public as sustainable forest management activities are carried out at the Beachburg Tract of the Renfrew County Forest.
Temporary trail closures are in place to protect the safety of recreational users. Signage is posted in the main parking lot and updates are posted frequently on the Renfrew County Forest Facebook page.
We are striving to keep some trails open for use instead of closing the entire tract, however, this is only possible if closures are respected by all users.
If you see a “Trail Closed” sign, an “X” across the trail entrance with flagging tape or a barricade, please do not enter the area. In addition, the main road/snowmobile trail through the Tract is closed at this time.
