Bertha Seamont
Peacefully at Marianhill Residence on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Bertha Seamont (nee Lapointe) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Seamont. Predeceased by her son Lloyd and daughter Jo-Ann. Loving grandmother of Thomas and Jo-Ann Seamont (Michael Graham) of Westmeath. Dear sister of Candide Dallaire, Noranda QC, Alfred Lapointe (Marie-Claire), Quebec QC, and Denise Sheridan (James), Pembroke. Predeceased by her parents Irenee and Marie-Louise (nee Gregoire), her sisters Irene Pellerin, Bernadette Grenier, Therese Lapointe, Marie-Rose Delaire, Laura Gaudette and brothers Joseph, Henri, Paul-Emile, Maurice and Ernest Lapointe and Rev. Fr. Romeo Lapointe. Sister-in-law of Berthe Lapointe, Edward Delaire, Margaret, Solange and Marguerite Lapointe. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Friends were invited to share their memories of Bertha with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home in Pembroke on Tuesday morning followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke, Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
