Peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his family at his side on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in his 95th year. Emmett Laderoute of Westmeath, beloved husband of the late Irene Laderoute (nee Goyette). Loved and cherished father to Garry Laderoute (Judy), Kirkland Lake, ON and Sharon Chaput (Durrell), Pembroke. Loving Grandpa to Julie Khosravi (Kourosh), Terran Chaput (Devin) and Devin Chaput (Kitely) and Big Papa to Emilee, Brody, Jade and Eleanor. Dear brother of Gabrielle Hunt, Pat Keegan, Julie Marie Rowe, Shirley Doucette, Betty Pye, Ambrose, Bernard, Aurel and Nelligan Laderoute. Predeceased by his granddaughter Jennifer, brothers Rene, Lennix, Cecil, Eric, Clarence, Bob, Dennis and sister Marie Riley. Son of the late Daniel and Barbara (nee Ethier) Laderoute. Friends are invited to share their memories of Emmett with his family on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Pembroke. A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westmeath followed by cremation. Spring Interment in Our lady of Grace Cemetery.
