Winter (nee Gervais), Inez – Surrounded by the love of her family, Inez passed away on August 1st, 2021. There are angels walking around this earth disguised as people and Inez was definitely one of them. Loving mother, wife, and best friend to so many people. Born in LaPasse, Ontario, on October 9, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Moise and Hatie-Mae Gervais. Inez is survived by her loving husband Edward (Ted) Winter and her children Chris Hohban , Cliff Hohban (Yeli) , Shelley Yurcovich (John), Roberta Saunders, Stephen Hohban (Debbie), Lori Hohban and Karin Hohban. Sister-in-law Margaret Howell, brothers- in- law Malcolm Winter (Christina) and William Winter (Kathy). Grandmother to Natalie Hohban (David), Amanda Hohban, Katelyn Hohban, Sara Braddock, Mitchell Braddock (Gillian), Olivia Saunders, Juliet Saunders, Joseph Plourde, David Plourde, Brent Naylor (Nadine). Great grandmother to Hazel-Mae Hohban, Dante and Hannah Naylor. Inez is survived by her sisters Kathleen Gohr (the late Bob ) and Ruth Dinn (Gerry Larocque) and brothers Orval Gervais (Joan) and Patrick Gervais (the late Elise). Predeceased by siblings Arthur, Douglas and Harry Gervais, Eileen Everett (the late Jack), Cecil Gervais (the late Anne), Viola Lefebvre (the late Sarto), Roy Gervais (the late Agnes), Leonard Gervais (the late Marion) Claire Lefebvre (the late Yvan). Inez will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to all the staff at Bonnechere Manor for the care and love given to Inez in the last years of her life. Thank you to Danielle and the Hohban family for their support of Inez.

on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lapasse Interment will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID – FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE VISITATION. Please feel free to bring your own face mask/covering or one will be supplied to you upon arrival. As an expression of sympathy, or in lieu of flowers donations to the Bonnechere Manor Foundation in Renfrew would be appreciated.
