James Edward Dunbar
September 15, 1943 ~ July 30, 2022 (age 78)
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Dunbar of Haleys at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2022 after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. Jim was in his 79th year. He leaves behind brothers Pat (Donna) of Carleton Place, and John (Trish) of Kingston and sisters Dorothy Sabourin of Ottawa, Clare Stoppa (Gerard) of Cobden and Theresa Nardilli (late Bill) of Barrie, also stepsons James, Stephen, Terry and Greg Roettiger and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Late Rooney and Dora Dunbar, wife Carol Roettiger, sister Melvina Kluke (late Orville) brother Hughie and stepson Kevin Roettiger. Friends / Family may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden on Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Cobden on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11 am. Interment in St James Cemetery, Portage du Fort. A very special thanks to the staff of Renfrew Victoria Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Jim over the past months.
